Doug Laughton

Doug Laughton (born in Widnes) is an English former rugby league footballer and coach. He played club football for the St Helens, Wigan, Widnes and the Canterbury Bulldogs. He also captained the Great Britain national side.

In 1979, while playing for Widnes, Laughton won the Man of Steel Award. Following the end of his playing career, he became coach of the Widnes club.
