Doty Island (Wisconsin)

Doty Island is an island in the state of Wisconsin in Winnebago County, Wisconsin. Doty Island is between the cities of Menasha, and Neenah on the Fox River at Lake Winnebago.[1]

Doty Island was the home of James Duane Doty, Governor of the Wisconsin Territory.[2][3] The Ho-Chunk chief Glory of the Morning lived in an village on Doty Island in the 19th century.[4]
