WikiProject Central Asia Doshpuluur is part of WikiProject Central Asia, a project to improve all Central Asia-related articles. This includes but is not limited to Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Xinjiang, Tibet and Central Asian portions of Iran and Russia, region-specific topics, and anything else related to Central Asia. Pine and larch aren't the same tree. I don't feel comfortable changing this article myself, because I don't have the proper expertese in Tuyvan lutes to know if there are doshpuluurs made from both pine and larch, but this probably should be changed.

Changed it to pine or larch; both woods are readily available in the region. Also removed 'cedar' as that is a mis-translation of Russian 'Kedr' (Siberian Pine Pinus sibirica) - MPF 13:26, 22 December 2005 (UTC)
