[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Seidenberg.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Seidenberg.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images on Wikipedia is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. You can get help on image copyright tagging from Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags. -- Carnildo 08:34, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] YTMND

  • This is a rather clear April Fools joke. If not, the next few days will make that clear, but given the site's history it should be taken as an April Fools joke. JuJube (talk) 18:46, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
    • Um... what the hell are you talking about? YTMND is not a man; Max Goldberg is a man. And that he chooses to shut it down on the "founding day" of April 1 (when it's well documented it's actually April 30) should have made it clear, but apparently a lot of Internet goofbags forgot what day it is. JuJube (talk) 18:50, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
  • Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages by deliberately introducing incorrect information, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. JuJube (talk) 18:53, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
  • Could you turn on your common sense for just a moment? If YTMND is really closing, it will become clear in the next few days. The fact they do so now is a rather clear sign that it's a joke. You do know what day it is, don't you? JuJube (talk) 18:59, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
    • Yeah, because the owner of a website can't possibly make a change to his whois. Seriously, my question still stands. You do know what today is, don't you? JuJube (talk) 19:06, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
  • You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. JuJube (talk) 19:09, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
    • You think you should believe any "serious" discussion of a borderline troll site that happens on April Fools? In any case, I'm not making any more changes. Frankly, I wish the site really was closing, but dollars to donuts it's not. JuJube (talk) 19:12, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
      • Don't talk to me, I didn't leave you the message. Although only someone hailing from a site like YTMND could consider what you are doing on my talk page "conversation". JuJube (talk) 19:15, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
        • 1st Amendment? Censorship? Sad. Enjoy your block. JuJube (talk) 19:31, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] April 2008

This is your last warning. You will be blocked from editing the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to User talk:JuJube. —αἰτίας discussion 19:11, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Why are you being so angry and rude?

Is something wrong that I can help with? Theresa Knott | The otter sank 19:32, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

You have been temporarily blocked from editing in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for abuse of editing privileges. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below.

-- Ed (Edgar181) 19:33, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

This blocked user (block log | autoblocks | rangeblocks | unblock | contribs | deleted contribs) has asked to be unblocked, but an administrator has reviewed and declined this request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock request while you are blocked.

Request reason: "there is a discrepancy about what is truly important and factual. the history of ytmnd is being made and one person feels he has the power to block it from being recorded."

Decline reason: "You were warned repeatedly. You continued. — IrishGuy talk 21:54, 1 April 2008 (UTC)"

Please make any further unblock requests by using the {{unblock}} template. However, abuse of the template may result in your talk page being protected.

[edit] people on wikipedia think they know everything

just because you can block someone doesnt mean you are right.

  • Coming from someone who thinks associating Wikipedia with China makes some kind of point. You "lol internet" types always make me laugh. If it's not an April Fools' Joke, we'll see, but we have good reason not to trust them (or you). JuJube (talk) 02:12, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
    • And now that it's officially been proven a joke, here's a washcloth to get the egg off your face. JuJube (talk) 11:47, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
