At some early stage, Dorothy Thompson the English historian should be given her own article? Presently there is material scattered in E. P. Thompson and in Chartists and possibly elsewhere. Linuxlad 10:52, 2 Feb 2005 (UTC)

[edit] A Mistake Needs Correction

Although Dorothy Thompson was a Germanophile, she was not of German ancestry. As her two biographers, Sanders and Kurth, make clear, her father was English and her mother a Scot. Whatever Thompson's involvement in the New York Times ad denouncing the Nazis, it was not because of her family background. Fred Lane (talk) 00:02, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
