I changed 'a' to 'an' in this revision so that the text would read "an American lawyer". In the edit box it did read "an United States" but there was a pipe in the link so it displayed as "an American lawyer". Following Student7's revision of 2 July 2007, the article now contains "He was a American lawyer". LewPot talk 12:29, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
