[edit] In favor of keeping the article
This article pass WP:BIO and Wikipedia:Notability (pornographic actors) (she've performed in about 100 films). Do no speedy it or add a prod tag. If you want to delete it you can use AfD, but I do not see any reason for that. --Haham hanuka 14:07, 7 July 2006 (UTC)

- Your wish is our command. But real thanks should go to nerdgirl.com, who was kind enough to make her Flickr photo solely-CC licenced after my request. Thanks! AnonEMouse (squeak) 15:00, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] What factual details of Dora Venter's life is it appropriate to include in this article?
Dora Venter is famous for one reason only. And this reason is that that she has perfomed graphic and extreme sex acts in many porn films.
And if her sex acts in porn films is what makes an article about her belong in this encyclopedia, then I think that saying what she actually did in her films is an essential part of this article.
Perhaps the only point of possible dispute is how to say what she did in her films? Should it be said in euphemisms and nebulous generalities that don't shock and upset anyone? Or should it be said directly, openly, and honestly without hiding or distorting the facts about her acts that made her famous?
I added to this article a short description of her sex acts in porn films with a reference. Here is what I added:
"According to the Internet Adult Film Database, Dora Venter has performed a wide variety of sex acts in her films including anal sex, double penetration, double anal penetration, ass to mouth, and anal creampie."
Someone deleted my addition by reverting the article without any explanation. And I think this change is vandalism. If you can't say truthfully and honestly what she did that made her famous, then perhaps this article about her doesn't belong in this encyclopedia. It's better to have no information at all than to have distorted information that presents a sanitized and false picture of Dora Venter. Nick367 06:43, 9 January 2007 (UTC)
Well, I just removed that thing again. I understand that this is of interest to porn collectors, who like to classify and order things (did XXX anal or this or that act are very frequently asked questions in certain venues) but Wikipedia is not the place to amass this kind of Detail. Dora Venter is of interest because many people know from her films. It is really not relevant to know the details of hert performance, unless that would characterize her in some exceptional way - which it doesn't. On the other hand, graphic descriptions of sex acts may be offensive to some people (including me - I consider them of bad taste) and are demeaning to Dora Venter as well. Let the graphic part remain in her films. Tullius2 14:46, 30 June 2007 (UTC)
