  • Dopplereffekt satisfies rule 5 for ensemble notability as they have released 2 cds (GIGOLO 32 and GIGOLO 99), 2 12" and 1 10" on International Deejay Gigolo Records and one of these cds has subsequently been released on Clone.
  • They have an article in the book A Rough Guide to Techno.
  • It contains one of the members of Drexciya (Rule 6)
  • Is listed in Detroit Techno as a prominent producer (Weak Rule 7 - I know he is prominent but very hard to show this is the case as no one has made a list of the most prominent people in techno)
