I admit that I used Wikipedia:original research (my own experience) for the following sentence that I added
- "As of 2006 such prophecies turned out to be untrue."

- What about making this entry into a redirect to Last Judgement. The term doomsday disambiguates among others to that entry. Or redirect to doomsday? Andries 21:11, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
