[edit] Methods and "p"ersonality
Please. This "p" should be lower-case, not capital. Similarly with a section heading that says "Early Professional Years", etc. See Wikipedia:Manual of Style. Michael Hardy 20:14, 6 October 2005 (UTC)
[edit] History of Science
Please consider joining the History of Science WikiProject. It also deals with the history of technology, which seems to be of particular interest to you.--ragesoss 18:28, 22 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Dimensional Analysis
Please check out new additions to Dimensional Analysis. It probably still needs work, but I think it is an improvement. Thinking about it, I will remove your name from the section header, because it might seem self serving for you to work on it. Thanks for your help on this subject. PAR 15:15, 26 January 2006 (UTC)
Hi Don - I have answered some of your statements on my talk page. PAR 17:24, 28 January 2006 (UTC)
Hi PAR--Have you seen what happened to the dimensional analysis article recently? What a mess! This is not even dimensional analysis now, and the guy who did this does not even have a talk page. I think the entire page should be reverted to the way it was. And I still think the Huntley's analysis should be toned down, or perhaps it should actually have its own article. You are clearly much more experienced in wikistuff than I, so you probably have better judgement on how to handle this than I. DonSiano 22:48, 24 February 2006 (UTC)
Hi Don - I will take a look at it and get back to you, and we can discuss the state of the article, ok? PAR 00:22, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Liesegang
Saying that they were first noticed "over a hundred years ago" is problematic, because that phrase will become increasingly misleading as time goes by. It won't ever actually become inaccurate, true, but the sentence "the dinosaurs died out over a hundred years ago" isn't strictly inaccurate either. Can you provide a year, or a decade, for the rings' discovery? Thanks. DS 16:51, 2 March 2006 (UTC)

Thought you might like to know.--ragesoss 21:32, 12 March 2006 (UTC) Ok, Wikipedia is having some lag issues and apparently my fix only covers one portion of the bug not all of it, sorry about that warning message / I hope this comes out properly, I'm using lynx on a console to bypass a few sharedip blocks here -- Tawker 17:49, 21 March 2006 (UTC)
You have eliminated my comment on industrial Revolution, Why in Europe... I am new to participate Expedia. Please read my argument in the discussion page of the same topic and review my addition again. Let me know of your suggestion.

[edit] PCR
Hi Don,
I left a little a response to the removal of my text and commment on the PCR page. Please let me know what you think. If I don't here a response, I'll change it back eventually. Thanks --Skosuri 03:47, 9 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] deleted url
Dear Editor,
You deleted an URL from a reference in Historiometry: [1]. However, I checked, and the URL works fine here. Can you explain what the problem was that you encountered?

[edit] AfD nomination of List of eugenicists
I've nominated List of eugenicists, an article you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but in this particular case I do not feel that List of eugenicists satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion; I have explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of eugenicists and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of List of eugenicists during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. --Charlene 06:14, 16 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Edits to C. D. Darlington
You have been removing links from the C. D. Darlington entry to my review of Harman's biography of Darlington. Please explain your exact basis for doing so. I am assuming you are aware of some factual or other error in that review. If so, please point it out. -- GT
You claim in justification that "style" forbids adding a link to a book review in the reference section. Please provide a reference to a WikiPedia style guide advising this - stating that some other entries do not have such links is not persuasive. Regarding the notion of a "vanity" link, please state which WikiPedia guideline is relevant. I see no reason why I cannot link an entry to a review I have written. Why not? If you do not provide substantiation I will declare a dispute and ask for arbitration. -- GT
[edit] Joseph Priestley
I was wondering if you had time in the next few weeks or months to look over Joseph Priestley. I have put the article up for scientific peer review because I need someone to check my explanations of his experiments and discoveries. From your listing at the HPS Wikiproject, it looked like you might be interested in JP. He isn't exactly part of the Industrial Revolution, but he's from that time. I would greatly appreciate the help. Awadewit | talk 04:43, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] New SDS
Hey, when a user puts a "merge" tag on an article, it would be really nice if you discussed it on the articles talk page instead of just removing it. I'm readding it and starting the discussion. Feel free to participate. Murderbike 22:34, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
- Ok, so now I see that there is an old discussion about creating the new article. I didn't see that before I added the merge tag. I'll remove it. However, I still wish you would have pointed it out to me before just removing the tag and not mentioning it in your edit summary. Good luck on the article. Murderbike 22:45, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
