It is not quite clear at this time whether the subject meets the inclusion guidelines, WP:BIO. The article cites books that he has written, but no texts that have been written about him. These secondary sources are needed to pass WP:BIO, however.

A Google Books search shows up some references in D.W.Music, "Christian Hymnody in Twentieth-century Britain and America", ISBN 0313309035. So it might well be that the subject is notable. I don't have access to the relevant sources, however.

For the time being, I will therefore reset the date counter of the notability tag (old date was: December 2006). There is then ample time for people with access to the sources to add proper citations that establish notability.
