There's something odd about this image. The image server is refusing to serve it. Are you sure that it's really a JPEG? Apologies if you already know this, but you cannot convert the format of a file just by renaming it with a different extension. What software did you use to create/view it before uploading? Once you've checked that, you may want to ask at the Village Pump or file a bug report.
By the way, I'm sorry to be picky, but I don't see how you can claim to have permission from the image creator to upload it for use in a single article, yet also claim to be the image creator and release it under a CC licence. You may want to clarify that. Bovlb (talk) 08:57, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
The image creator experienced the same problem and asked me to upload it on his behalf .- Tinucherian (talk) —Preceding comment was added at 09:15, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
So am I right in thinking that both of you can view the uploaded image locally, say in a web browser? If so, can you please look for a menu option like "view page info" and tell me what that says for the MIME content type? I'm beginning to suspect that the image server is tripping up on this image when attempting to do on-the-fly size conversion. Bovlb (talk) 10:13, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
