Donny Marshall

Donny E. Marshall (born July 17, 1972, in Detroit, Michigan) is an American former professional basketball player who was selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers the 2nd round (39th overall) of the 1995 National Basketball Association Draft. A 6'7" small forward from the University of Connecticut (after graduating from Federal Way High School in Federal Way, WA), Marshall played in five NBA seasons. He played for the Cavaliers from 1995-1997 & 2000 and for the New Jersey Nets from 2002-2003. In his NBA career, Marshall played in 119 games and scored a total of 293 points.
Marshall is currently a studio basketball analyst for the Boston Celtics on CSN New England. He occasionally fills in for color commentator Tom Heinsohn on Celtics telecasts, usually on away games. He is not related to former Connecticut Huskies teammate Donyell Marshall.
