Donald May (actor)

Donald May (born February 22, 1927) was an American actor best known for replacing Wayde Preston as the lead in the 1957 television series Colt .45. May played "Sam Colt, Jr.," cousin to Preston's character Christopher Colt, and the program ran on the BBC under the title The Colt Cousins. May also appeared in various films and TV shows more than forty times between 1956 and 1993, including Hawaiian Eye, Sugarfoot, Cheyenne, 77 Sunset Strip, Surfside 6, Follow Me, Boys!, The Dukes of Hazzard, and L.A. Law. He also appeared in many soap operas including The Edge of Night, One Life to Live and Texas
