Donald Holder

Donald Holder is a theatrical lighting designer in New York. He has been nominated for seven Tony awards and won the Tony Award for Best Lighting Design in 1998, for The Lion King. Among the many Broadway productions for which he has designed the lighting are South Pacific, Les Liaisons Dangereuses, Radio Golf, Movin' Out, The Times They Are A-Changin', A Streetcar Named Desire, and Prelude to a Kiss. He is currently the head of lighting design at the California Institute of the Arts in the School of Theater.
