Don Mitchell (geographer)

Don Mitchell is an academic Geographer at the Maxwell School of Syracuse University. He is currently serving as the chairperson of the geography department at Maxwell. Considered one of the most influential young Geographers, he is perhaps best known for his work on cultural theory (see Mitchell 1995), and the People's Geography Project.
In 1998, he became a MacArthur Fellow.
