Fred Donald Bessent (born March 13, 1931 in Jacksonville, Florida, died July 7, 1990) was a pitcher in Major League Baseball. He pitched from 1955-1958 with the Brooklyn/Los Angeles Dodgers.
He pitched in the 1955 & 1956 World Series for the Dodgers.
