The airport is much better now with the facelift - it feels like an ultra-modern uber-cool airport with good selection of restaurants and duty free. Easier on your legs than Duabi!

I thought the facelift isn't finished yet.--Ahmed 00:20, 17 January 2006 (UTC)

the description is very subjective, and in my option, unfair. i had no problems the two times i visited a few months ago. it's small, but plenty of seats. it's not a very cleverly designed aiport but it does work. and importantly - the a/c works very well. more useful info might be that they except money notes in GBP/USD/EUR but only give change in local currency (useless if in transit). -- ~~

[edit] QR to JFK and IAD

OAG lists these flights as starting at the end of March; however, the airline doesn't have them listed on its own timetables, nor is it possible to buy tickets. There is a lag between the publication date of schedules and when they appear on OAG. It's possible that QR is delaying the start date and OAG's timetables haven't caught up yet.
