A user from Special:Contributions/24.19.203.160 added this edit that states Hastings was

Listed by Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) as one of the 22 most corrupt members of congress for having improper contact with a Washington U.S. Attorney CREW List.

Someone interested and knowledgeable about this issue should check to see whether this is a noteworthy allegation and perhaps find a better way to present it in the article (A controversy section, perhaps?). As is, it seems like an attempt to slip some "this politician is corrupt" propaganda (however true it may be) into the encyclopedia.WDavis1911 08:17, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
