DNA Day is a holiday celebrated on April 25th. It commemorates the day in 1953 when James Watson and Francis Crick's article on the structure of DNA was published.
The DNA Day in 2008 is the anniversary of several important DNA milestones. It is the five year anniversary of the completion of the Human Genome Project, and the 55th anniversary of the publishing of James Watson and Francis Crick's article on the structure of DNA.
