Could you expand Caucasian Avars by translating above mentioned article? I would be very grateful.

  • With great pleasure. In a few days maybe, since currently I'm way too busy. --Dmitry Gerasimov 13:40, 20 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Homophony

I left some notes on the talk page concerning your comments and made a change to the article. What I wanted to ask, though, since you seem to be knowledgeable about classical music and theory, is if you think it would meet the criteria for being a good article. Since no one else who knows theory seems to frequent the candidates page, if you do think it meets the criteria, you might want to go to the GA candidates page and pass it. I think it is up to par, but that's not for me to decide, seeing as I wrote most of it. -- Cielomobile minor7♭5 02:27, 3 October 2006 (UTC)

  • I think the article is too small still. I'll try to improve it a bit during the weekend and then vote. --Dmitry Gerasimov 09:28, 5 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Sikorsky

After a short research in Google, i found that infact only some of Igor Sikorsky's bllod was Polish and Ukrainian, and most of it was Russian (not talking about the fact that he himself considered himself Russian). I also stated those things on the talk page of the article, so feel free to state your opinion there. You also could help by finding more references and links to support that (not that i didnt give links, it's just that more of them might help). There are also problems with people not understanding that when he was born Kiev was Russia and not Ukraine. Thank you for you contribution to the topic so far! P.S. Since you are also active on the Russin Wikipedia, could you please translate the parts about his ethnicity and family to the Russian Wikipedia? I would do it, if i would know how to write Russian. It's Just absurd that the English Wikipedia has more information about the Russian Sikorsky then the Russian Wikipedia. Thank you.
