Dmitri Klebanov

Dmitri Lvovich Klebanov (Ukrainian: Дмитрo Львович Клебанiв, Russian: Дмитрий Львович Клебанов, July 25 (o.s. July 12) 1907, Kharkiv - June 6, 1987 Kharkiv) was a renowned Ukrainian composer. He studied at the Kharkiv Music and Drama Institute (graduated 1926) with S. Bogatyryov. He taught at the Kharkiv Conservatory (professor, 1960). Among his students were Valentin Bibik, Vitali Gubarenko, and Viktor Suslin.
