Quarrel with OwenX

[edit] Tried to Post

Hey Dave, Tried to post some colorful edits to your user page which you probably would've found funny. Unfortunetly, there are a lot of nerds out there who won't let two family members jab at eachother and have a little fun on your user page.

--Stephen

David, if you want to allow anonymous posters to change your user page, please state so on the page itself and we'll leave them alone. We're not here to make life miserable for people, just trying to keep some order around. Owen× 00:41, 2 September 2005 (UTC)

UPDATE: Owen× still lives with his mother.

Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on the contributor; personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks may lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. --Vercalos 21:25, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

That was sent to me roughly 3 minutes after I posted that Owenx, an annoying kid who kept removing my cousin's comments, still lives with his mother. What has Wikipedia come to?

Are you telling me that that wasn't a personal attack?--Vercalos 21:29, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

hahahahahah the kid actually responded.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Dkkicks (talkcontribs) (The kid also added an unsigned comment after my response)

Quarrel with DietLimeCola

Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on the contributor; personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks may lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. DietLimeCola 18:35, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

Oooooh thank you Mr. DietLimeCola. Once again, nice job trying to pretend you have some authority over anybody here. You are a wannabe admin, which is even sadder than a real admin Dkkicks 20:21, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

Please stop. If you continue to make personal attacks on other people, you will be blocked for disruption. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Thank you.

Hey, im just following the instructions with personal attacks. DietLimeCola 20:43, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

Block me? Look buddy, you dont even come close to being an admin on this site. Try to impress someone else. Why don't you pretend to be Yanksox again?

I'm done talking to you. I posted TEMPLATES and wasnt trying to pretend to be anyone, I was following the instructions on the page with personal attacks. I gave you enough warnings, you have been reported for personal attacks. DietLimeCola 20:51, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

Wow, big man here. Can't take a little criticism and is upset about his failure to become an admin. So what does he do? Looks for the closest person to run to, some admin on Wikipedia. Well played DietLimeCola. Hey, if I'm blocked, it'll be less times you've been, and for far better reasons. (OH MY GOD SOME GIRL WAS LOOKING AT WIKIPEDIA FOR HER PAPER AND I DIDN'T SEE THE TEACHER SO I COULDN'T TATTLE SO I TOOK MATTERS IN TO MY OWN HANDS!)
I also couldn't help notice how sad it is that you so quickly noticed my updates. Do you just sit their at your computer waiting for an update? (Please tell me you didn't watchlist this page... you did, didn't you) All in all, everything can be summed up with a simple saying: [1] Dkkicks 20:59, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

I'd suggest that you calm down. Please. Luna Santin 00:20, 7 November 2006 (UTC)

You have been temporarily blocked from editing for disrupting Wikipedia by making personal attacks. If you wish to make useful contributions, you are welcome to come back after the block expires. Shell babelfish 00:21, 7 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Article Deletions

Hi Dkkicks, thanks for contributing to wikipedia. I'm sorry but I think it's best to let Scott Kauffman be deleted, because all you can say about him was that he was in that movie. But please feel free to expand the movie article and make other contributions. Here's the standard welcome:

Are you crazy? Why on earth would you want to delete Scott Kauffman?—Preceding unsigned comment added by Stephen Kauffman (talk • contribs)

[edit] NPOV Violations

Make sure your articles are encyclopedic and that they adhere to WP:NPOV. Your "Phantom Tag" stuff broke both of these rules. CryptoDerk 03:58, May 25, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Copyright Violation Removal Violations

Also, please put proper copyright tags on your images, otherwise they may be deleted. CryptoDerk 04:00, May 25, 2005 (UTC)

Please refrain from removing vfd notices, especially when they are on a page about you. Thanks. --TheMidnighters 8 July 2005 05:10 (UTC)

Again, do not remove deletion tags, it constitutes vandalism and you can be blocked. --TheMidnighters 8 July 2005 06:07 (UTC)

[edit] Plagiarism Violation

I noticed your edit to the page and, unfortunately, while it does greatly expand upon the article, it is mostly a verbatim copy of [2], with the only differences being fragments modified into sentences. This is a possible copyright violation, and unless you have permission, is not allowed on Wikipedia. You can write a new article at the temp page, so long as it is not from a copyrighted source. Thank you. DomRem | Yeah? 00:28, August 10, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Your comment on an AfD

You left the following comment on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Goatse.cx:

Typical wikipedia. Some moron who thinks he knows everything is presented with new info, and thinks it's fake. I can't stand this site anymore.

This comment came out of the blue. What exactly are you talking about? --Wafulz 18:01, 26 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Holophonor

You should consider leaving your comments about the proposed deletion of Holophonor at the AfD page (Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Holophonor), not the article discussion page. Also note that it is not a vote and the reason for nomination was not a lack of knowledge on the nominator's part so please give a valid reasoning for your vote. Thanks. [edit] Prison escape

The last vandalism warnings posted to that IP are six weeks old. Unless there's a clear pattern of edits, we have no way of knowing that the person using an IP address today is the same as the person who used it several weeks ago. I've posted the appropriate vandalism warning to 207.235.248.2. Feel free to let me know if the problem persists. -- Jim Douglas (talk) (contribs) 05:44, 14 November 2006 (UTC)

This image has been deleted. If you are in fact the photographer, please arrange to have someone from the church email permissions-en (at) wikimedia (dot) org confirming that the image has been released under a free license. Thank you, --RobthTalk 20:00, 12 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned Images

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:ManbearpigSeason11.png)

Thanks for uploading Image:ManbearpigSeason11.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 15:21, 4 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Madden06.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Madden06.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. After Midnight 0001 22:31, 14 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] AfD nomination of Arnold's Wrecking Co.

I have nominated Arnold's Wrecking Co., an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Arnold's Wrecking Co.. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.
