DJ Eddie Ed aka "djedyed" of the famous after work Naked Lunch Share Libations from 2000 to 2003, is based in New York City and is one of the few DJs instrumental in marketing Kwaito music in Southern Africa and the USA. His repertoire includes Kwaito, World Music if you ever wondered who DJ Eddie Ed is? ever wondered what separates him form the rest of the dj’s in NYC? then the answer is simple: he is the musical bridge between Southern Africa & the US. dj edyed who is based in NYC, is one of the few, if not the only instrumental in the marketing of Kwaito music in the USA and Southern Africa. Proficiency extending into world music, R&B, Hip Hop, Pop and Reggae music genres. Not to mention, he is one of the most popular DJ in the Southern African who was also dubbed as the first Kwaito-exclusive DJ to perform @ NY Summerstage in 2001.NJPAC 2002/3 African Film Festival 2002/3 Held championships such as the Botswana National DJ ’98, mix shows and making guest appearances at radio stations by far & large within the main the major cities of Southern Africa.
