Chinese recording star Huang Xiao Hu comes from the typically tropical city of Khaohsiung in southern Taiwan.
She first hit the international music charts in the
early 1990's with the classic Mandarin ballad, 'More Than Friends' which was penned by fellow superstar Sky Wu. Since then she has released many successful Mandarin, and English albums throughout the Asia region.
Xiao Hu is a gifted performer who can sing all kinds
of songs, from big pop ballads and upbeat dance numbers, to pop rock and even traditional folk songs. She has recorded songs in English, Mandarin, Hokkien and even Japanese, and feels most comfortable when she is performing her first love, Jazz.
She has a legion of loyal fans throughout Asia, and
recently enjoyed renewed success with 'The Voice' series of albums, which put her dynamic live concert performances in the spotlight.
To date, Xiao Hu has released more than a dozen studio albums,with three extremely successful live concert'Voice' albums.
Huang Xiao Hu released 'The Voice 3' in early 2004,
and near the end of that year she celebrated the CD's success by performing at a sell-out live concert at the famed Taipei International Convention Centre.
In mid June 2005, She surprised many, by again
performing two sell out shows at Taiwan's foremost concert venue,TICC.
During 2006 Huang Xiao Hu was very much in demand
on Taiwan's exciting concert circuit, and also performed concerts for her many fans in Shanghai and other cities across China.
