DJ Lost Soul aka LS as he commonly is known as now is a South Asian DJ of American descent that transcended boundaries in the United States. He is known primarily with nicknames such as "The South Asian Sensation" or "International Mix King." Desiclub Feature He is regarded as the first South Asian DJ to release mixtape series and the first South Asian DJ to have mixshow on a national Satellite service (XM Satellite Radio).
Beginning in 2000, LS began to spin at venues as 2k9 and The Cage. From there he has spun at the some of the hottest venues across the nation. He has dj'ed for such artists as Jay-Z, Diddy, Alicia Keys, R Kelly, Benji and Madden, David Banner, Nas, Babs from Bad Boy, Jin, Beenie Man, Nelly Fertado and much more. He has dj'ed in cities such as Las Vegas, Miami, New York City, Los Angeles, Columbus, Chicago, his hometown of Washington DC and many more. He has held residencies at DC's hottest venues including MCCXXIII Friday Nights, Eyebar Thursdays and Fridays, Lima Tuesdays, Lotus Fridays, Saki Saturdays, and Andalu Thursdays. In 2005 he was named the official headliner for the SASA 2006 conference.
LS is regarded as a pioneer and innovator. He is also 1/2 of the production duo Next UP along side partner DJ Xclusive. He shows no signs of stopping and is regarded as DC's #1 International DJ.
