[edit] Dixie Carter Carter

According to her IMDb biography, Carter is her birth name, and it's just coincidence that her first husband had the same last name. Just in case anyone else was curious. --Angr/tɔk tə mi 22:19, 5 November 2005 (UTC)

It was in the article previously, but it was somehow deleted. Mike H. That's hot 06:13, 23 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Desperate Housewives

She's now playing Orson's mother and will be featured in several episodes. I'm not sure how long the role will last, but she's supposed to be crucial to Orson's bad past. Is this not Wikipedia worthy? It seems like she's been on a hiatus from television for a while until now.2003graduate

[edit] Info box photo

I returned the solo shot of Dixie Carter to the info box. It doesn't seem appropriate for shot of the entire Designing Women cast to appear in info box for Dixie's solo article. I placed the DW cast shot down further in the article, where it would correspond with the section discussing her DW years. --Markt3 23:22, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Halbert Carter Obit

I don't know if there's a place for it in the article, but Mrs. Carter-Holbrook's father died the other day. His obituary is very interesting. H. L. Carter was a fine fellow.

[edit] Cabaret Singer

She has had a "hobby career" as a cabaret singer and a respected one. Suggest something more about that be put in the article.

[edit] Bloodworth-Thomsons

Suggest the mention of the on-air toast to Clinton be appropriately tied to the fact that the Bloodworth-Thomson were Clinton supporters from Little Rock and sometimes White House guests. Don't think this would be POV, just relevance.

[edit] Emmy Award?

I can't find information of her ever winning an Emmy Award. She was nominated this past year for her Desperate Housewives role...but I don't think she ever won before. Small5th 00:09, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
