The Dixon Branch was an interurban rail line to Dixon, California from a point on the line known as Olcott, or Dixon Junction between Sacramento and the Train Ferry Ramon at Chipps, California [1] [2].
The line was planned in the 1910s, by the Sacramento Northern Railway. However, due to the collapse of the Lisbon Trestle on July 24th, 1951, the line was left on its own, and later became abandoned.
