Talk:Division II
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Why not define what constitutes a Division I school and a Division II school, it has something to do with amount of spectators at a University's home gym or field.
- It doesn't have anything to do with the number of spectators. It's just a matter of which level of competition the school chooses to compete at. Scholarship limits are the biggest factor, for football, Division I schools can give up to 85 scholarships, Division II can give up to 36 scholarships, while Division III schools cannot give any scholarships.--RLent 22:37, 16 February 2006 (UTC)
