The Division of Mitchell is an Australian Electoral Division in the state of New South Wales. It is located in the north-west suburbs of Sydney, and includes the suburbs of Baulkham Hills, Castle Hill, North Rocks, West Pennant Hills, Glenhaven, Dural, Kenthurst and Nelson. The division also includes parts of Carlingford, Kellyville and Rouse Hill.

The Division is named after Major Thomas Mitchell, surveyor and explorer who was the first European to explore large areas of New South Wales and Victoria. The Division was proclaimed at the redistribution of May 11, 1949, and was first contested at the 1949 Federal election. The seat is currently a safe Liberal seat.

The sitting Liberal member, Alan Cadman, announced his retirement in 2007 when it became clear that he was facing a preselection defeat. The new Liberal candidate is Alex Hawke, a former staffer to controversial New South Wales Legislative Council member David Clarke. He belongs to the right wing faction of the Liberal Party.
