Diversitas is a free and open source project, established on April 19, 2003, based on user-edited quotations in all languages.
Diversitas also is an internationally renowned scientific programme on biodiversity. Diversitas is trying to promote biodiversity research as basis of sustainability by means of projects, declarations (like the 2007 Buffon Declaration) and international networking.
