Dive Index is a musical project originated by composer/producer Will Thomas. Considered a global collaborative effort[citation needed], the latest album, 'Mid/Air' features vocalists Natalie Walker, Merz, Cat Martino, and Ian Masters. Instrumental contributions include Kevin O'Donnell, Timothy O'Donnell, Julia Kent, Maxim Moston, CJ Camerieri, David Shaw and Roger Eno. 'Mid/Air' is released on the New York based indie label Neutral Music (neutralmusic.com).[1]

Natalie Walker is based in Philadelphia and releases music on Dorado records. Her first solo album entitled 'Urban Angel' was released in the UK/Europe in 2006 and re-released on Quango Music Group in 2007. Natalie was also the lead singer for downtempo electronic group Daughter Darling.[2]

Merz (aka Conrad Lambert) resides outside of Bristol, England. He was signed to Epic Records in 1998 and then released Loveheart (2005) on Gronland records. His latest full-length is 'Moi et Mon Camion'. [3]

Cat Martino lives in Brooklyn, NY and releases albums on Never Ending Records. Her latest being 'The Sea Closet' (2007).[4]

Ian Masters was the singer/bass player for the early '90s shoegaze, indie-pop band Pale Saints on 4ad records. After the Pale Saints, he formed the Spoonfed Hybrid and Friendly Science Orchestra and is currently living in Osaka, Japan.[5]

Will Thomas has released minimal electronic music on the Hydrogen Dukebox[6] label under the name Plumbline. Discography includes Circles (2003), PinPoints (2004) the RePointed EP (2005) and LP 'Transparencies' (2006). 'Transparencies' was a collaboration with Roger Eno. Will Thomas co-wrote and produced 'Mid/Air'.

Instrumental contributions on 'Mid/Air' include Julia Kent and Maxim Moston (cello & violn, respectively) who also make up the string section for Antony and the Johnsons. Kevin O'Donnell lives in Chicago and also plays drums with Andrew Bird and Jon Rauhouse. CJ Camerieri has played horn for Rufus Wainwright among others. Timothy O'Donnell designed the packaging for 'Mid/Air' and worked at the 4ad records design studio, v23 in the '90s designing sleeves for Lush, GusGus, Bauhaus, His Name Is Alive, Bush and many others. Tim also contributes guitar on 'Mid/Air'. Roger Eno assisted with string arrangements and has collaborated with many people including Kate St. John his brother Brian Eno. He has released many albums on the All Saints Records label and most recently on the UK based internet label, Burning Shed (burningshed.com). He lives in the English countryside of Suffolk.
