Distaff Handicap

The Distaff Handicap is a race for Thoroughbred race horses held each spring at Aqueduct Racetrack. Open to fillies and mares, age three and up, willing to race the six furlong distance, the Grade II event offers a purse of $150,000 added. (The Breeders' Cup contributes an extra $8,000.)

The Distaff Breeders Handicap is one of the few graded stakes for fillies and mares at a sprint distance.

Richard Migliore and Angel Cordero, Jr. share in most wins by a jockey in the Distaff at 4 each.
