[edit] Prequel?

I don't think I understand. How can it be a prequel when no characters seem to share names with the original? --Kjoonlee 14:40, 23 September 2006 (UTC)

You're right, it's not a prequel; the writer calls it a "re-imagining", so I've changed the lead to reflect that. It's not a prequel or sequel to Dirty Dancing. -- Jim Douglas 18:13, 23 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Wikiquote link

Anyone try the wikiquote link? It doesn't seem to go anywhere, or is that just me?

[edit] Page moves

Someone moved Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights to Dirty Dancing (2004 film). This move seems unjustified - that was not its name. I have moved back. -- Beardo 14:00, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] "This movie was produced in the UK for purposes of British law."

Something to the effect of the above sentence was shown at the end of the credits to "Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights". If the movie was filmed in Puerto Rico, a U.S. commonwealth, how does it follow that the movie was produced in the "United Kingdom"? The US != the UK, and it hasn't been British since the 1770s; meanwhile, I don't think that Puerto Rico was ever British - just Spanish and yanqui. 68.36.214.143 04:41, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
