MI13 may well still be classified, or it may not exist due to plain and simple superstition... i believe that the latter proposition is more likely.

Regardless, the source which suggests the existence of MI20-25 on the guardian web page is just some loon who refers to himself as "Captain S.S DG of MI section 25". I mean seriously?! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.0.62.93 (talk) 08:22, 6 January 2008 (UTC)


I have removed the offending section. Someone blessed with more time on their hands maybe able to provide a better explanation for the missing divisions...

[edit] MI6?

This article needs to explain what MI6 was originally. Sure, it's the foreign intelligence service now, but surely that wasn't the 6th section they formed?! If other sections spied in Russia etc, what was Section 6's original brief? The current article on MI6 says spying in Russia was its forte in WW1, so how does this make sense?--Jack Upland (talk) 11:01, 8 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Disinformation

The main source of information here seems to be the security establisment, who have no motive to tell the truth and who denied the existence of MI5 and 6 until the end of the Cold War (despite the exposes of Philby etc).
