The Counter-Terrorist Directorate (Spanish: Dirección Contra el Terrorismo, best known simply as DIRCOTE) is the branch of the National Police of Peru that is responsible for Peru's anti-terrorist law enforcement efforts.
DIRCOTE's Special Intelligence Group (Grupo Especial de Inteligencia or GEIN) was responsible for capturing Shining Path leader Abimael Guzmán.
