Diots

diots ( se « djo ») are sausages from the French department of savoy (La Savoie). they existe in different variates.

some diots are eaten cooked (grilled, boiled, or cooked in the traditional manner with white wine) and some are dried sausages.

They may be eaten both cold and hot. When eaten hot they are generally accompanied by boiled potatoes or polenta. When eaten cold they are generally eaten with spicy mustard (Generally from Dijon) or they are placed in sandwiches or salads.
