Diogo de Azambuja

Diogo de Azambuja (1432-1518) Portuguese explorer of the African coast, lead an expedition into the Gold Coast with Bartolomeu Dias, in 1481. After his trip with Dias he died following several bouts with his mental health. He was 86 years old.
