Diocese of Bolzano-Brixen

The Diocese of Bolzano-Brixen is a Roman Catholic diocese in northern Italy, with its seat in the city of Bolzano (Bozen). Its territory corresponds with that of the province of Bolzano-Bozen. It is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Trento, and the current bishop is Wilhelm Egger.
It was created in 1964, from most of the former Diocese of Brixen, and parts of the Archdiocese of Trento.
