[edit] Duva Boxing
After splitting from Main Events in 2000, Dino wanted to drop everything and start from scratch. Along with the support of his father, Lou Duva, Dino started Duva Boxing. Since starting from the ground up just several years ago, Dino and his family have turned Duva Boxing into a major player in the boxing business. Their current stable includes WBC Heavyweight Champion of the World, Samuel Peter, the hard hitting Cruiserweight contender Darnell "Ding A Ling" Wilson, the young Italian-American heavyweight prospect Mike Marrone, as well as other up and coming prospects.
In December of 2006, Don King purchased a 50% interest in Duva Boxing for an undisclosed financial amount. However Duva still runs his company as a separate entity. The merging of "The Duvas" and "The King" drew a decent amount media and press attention.[citation needed]
Duva Boxing's main offices are located in Totowa, New Jersey.
