Dimitris Papadatos

Dimitris Papadatos is a Greek artist who was born in New York on 5 September 1981 but lives and works in Athens, Greece.
Dimitris Papadatos worked in the free press newspaper Lifo as an artist. Furthermore he worked as a senior art director in the Greek magazine Ozon [2006] and as a creative art director in the fashion magazine Mother [2007]. He is the founder member of the group Suku that represents the new experimental musical scene of Greece. Dimitris Papadatos is a member of Teamstrut that organized in collaboration with Mont Blank 666, an art show and party hybrid in Gazi, Athens featuring artists such as Antonakis Christodoulou [29-1-1978], Zoe Zillion [1981] and Taxiarhos Gotsis. In 2008 he took part in the art exhibition SNQ with Yannis Kofteros and Thomas Damtsios, an imaginary geography influenced by a Rorschach interpretation of the borealis. Papadatos' paintings represented the gold darkness of the Frozen landscapes in the Nordic mountains.
