Dimitris P. Kraniotis (Greek Δημήτρης Π. Κρανιώτης) is a Greek poet. Born in 1966 in Stomio - Larissa, a coastal town in central Greece.

By his own account [1] Kraniotis has studied at the Medical School in Thessaloniki and lives and works as a medical doctor in Larissa, Greece, a town with about 125.000 inhabitants. By his own account he is vice-president of the local writers' society, member of the board of two local medical societies, and member of various amateur poets' societies.

Kraniotis has received various awards. Most are from amateur organisations, self-promotion web sites and non-literary local organisations. Kraniotis is member of several of these awarding societies.
