Dimitrios Valvis

Dimitrios Valvis (1814-1886) was a Greek politician and Prime Minister. Born in Messolonghi, he was the brother of another Prime Minister, Zinovios Valvis. He served as President of the Supreme Court (Άρειος Παγος) from 1872-1885. He was appointed care-taker Prime Minister for a brief period in May, 1886 between the ministeries of Theodoros Deligiannis and Charilaos Trikoupis.
