[edit] Notability
Subject appears to meet WP:BIO. --SmackTacular 15:38, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
- Where are the sources writing about him? I personally think he belongs here one way or another, but the article is seriously lacking in sources. All that can be said about him from the current sources is that he was a member of some groups and wrote such and such a paper and a piece of software; that isn't much. Night Gyr (talk/Oy) 15:52, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
- ...in your opinion. --Myles Long 18:19, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
- So you're telling me that because there isn't an article explicitly about him, he is somewhat less notable for the things he's accomplished? --SmackTacular 18:25, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
- I'm saying that we can't write about things that other people haven't. Night Gyr (talk/Oy) 19:49, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
- His accomplishments are well documented, that's why they return thousands of google hits, a ton of articles, et cetera. I think, of the things to question, notability isn't one of them! --SmackTacular 20:12, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
- All I'm saying is that the article needs sources added to it that talk about him with more than a bare mention. You'd get thousands of hits on the word "apple" but not all of them talk about it at length. Night Gyr (talk/Oy) 20:16, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
- So, by your logic, we should delete this article. --Myles Long 04:30, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
- No, we should add sources to it that support its information, and delete anything not supported by the sources. If the sources prove not to exist, then we delete the whole thing. Night Gyr (talk/Oy) 06:52, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, that's what should be done. And that's what has been done in this article as well. It's not too impressive at just 3 sentences long (it is a stub, after all), but having 9 references should suffice. --Myles Long 13:56, 20 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Member of cDc
According to the member list here, he's still an active member of cDc. Please stop changing the wording to past tense. --Myles Long 04:51, 13 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] this article needs cleanup
grammatical errors and the second paragraph seems to repeat information found in the first paragraph. Zeroday (talk) 09:53, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
Also this sentence needs more accuracy "He co-authored the best-selling Windows password auditing tool @stake LC (L0phtCrack)" There were five versions of l0phtcrack sold most with different authors. If the claim is that he authored the original l0phtcrack then it should be stated as such. Zeroday (talk) 09:57, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
