[edit] Summary

The comic strip Dilbert from 1 April 1997, part of the Comic strip switcheroo. Drawn for this date by Bil Keane, artist and writer of Family Circus. Copyright 1997 by United Feature Syndicate. Original image was a GIF file, converted to PNG by the uploader.

In the first of three panels, Dilbert is working at his computer, wearing his usual up-turned tie, and Dogbert is sitting on his monitor. Someone from outside the panel says "Hey, Dilbert! You'll never be hungry as long as you're workin' in this strip..." In the second panel, Billy, also wearing an up-turned tie, is revealed to be the speaker. He continues "...'cause you're sure of three squares every day!" In the last panel, the off-panel Billy finishes with "Some of us hafta keep goin' around in circles!" An irritated Dilbert is now on the phone calling security.

Fair use rationale: This image is used to illustrate one of the one-to-one switches held by comic strip cartoonists as part of the "Comic strip switcheroo" held on April Fool's Day, 1997. The strip is used for informative and educational purposes only, and is not intended to infringe on the rights of the copyright owner.
