[edit] Deeper Thoughts and Meaning

I find this concept intriguing and worthy of a page. I will take appropriate steps shortly to ensure that it is preserved. One unintended association, however, is that exhaust is, by definition, waste. I don't think that is the intent of this article. Rather, it appears that we seek to understand how digital impressions are left behind. --Thedrake000 (talk) 20:54, 18 December 2007 (UTC)

Good point about waste. The term also refers to depletion or making empty. I think this term also refers to the opposite that as well. Still I see the term as defining itself in other ways. Taking on a different shade of the definition or carving out a new meaning. I mean the term just makes sense, so I cannot imagine another way to describe it.  The Robot Champion  talk to me  03:54, 19 December 2007 (UTC)
I found a study by McKinsey which supports this notion. I have added it to the definition and created a redirect based on the word. --Thedrake000 (talk) 13:29, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
