The PCM-3348HR and D827 are capable of 20-bit 96 kHz operation

The 3348HR is a 24-bit machine, with full 48 tracks at the expense of 50% tape speed increase. The D827, i'm not so sure, but it seems that it can work in 16/20/24-bit resolutions, with 24-bit offering only half the track count. Both machines were not designed for 96kHz operation, i don't know if they could be modified to do so. --Dulldull 17:59, 24 December 2006 (UTC)
