Dighinala is located at 23.2583° N 92.0583° E . It has 11227 units of house hold and total area 694.12 km².

As of 1991 Bangladesh census^[1], Dighinala has a population of 50933. Males constitute are 51.5% of the population, and females 48.5%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 26408. Dighinala has an average literacy rate of 26.4% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate. ^[2]
