[edit] "dietetic" becomes "diabetes mellitus"

By what looks to be a strange game of telephone, the word "dietetic" turned into "diabetic" and now "diabetes mellitus". While it's possible that Diet Rite was first marketed to people for diabetes, I can't find any substantiation for this, and wonder if the article was edited like this just because somebody wasn't familiar with the word "dietetic". Anyone?

(By the way, there's never a need to edit an article just to change [[redirect]] to [[direct|redirect]], as was done here. See Wikipedia:Redirect#Don't fix redirects that aren't broken. --TreyHarris 14:24, 21 February 2006 (UTC)
