Is this article really necessary? It seems to be mostly a disambiguation page — I doubt we can find much material on the franchise as a whole. Also, it seems to be mostly (or even only) linked to by Template:Die Hard, on which it is rather superfluous, and I doubt anybody would enter "Die Hard series" into the Go button bar. So why not just delete it (unless someone manages to dig up substantial information about the franchise)? -- Lea (talk) 04:39, 4 February 2008 (UTC)

We have a few film series articles in existence, such as Spider-Man film series or Batman film series. Two things that this could use are a table of box office performance figures and a table of critical reception figures, though the latter may not be so "fresh" due to the first films being older.
